Terms of Use & License Agreement

This End User License Agreement ("Agreement") is between you and Voxolo ("Voxolo," "we," "us") and governs your use of the Voxolo mobile application (the "App"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to this Agreement. If you don't agree, please don't use the App.

1. License Grant

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App on Apple devices you own or control, for your own personal, non-commercial use, in accordance with this Agreement and Apple's Usage Rules in the App Store Terms of Service.

2. Beta & TestFlight Use

If you received the App via TestFlight, you're using a pre-release beta version. Beta software may contain bugs, incomplete features, or unexpected behavior, and may change or be discontinued at any time without notice. Feedback you submit about the beta may be used by us to improve the App, without any obligation or compensation to you.

3. Subscriptions & Purchases

• Voxolo offers optional auto-renewing subscriptions ("Premium") for additional features.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in your Apple ID account settings.
• Pricing and free-trial terms are shown in the App before purchase and are subject to Apple's standard subscription terms.

4. AI-Generated Content

Voxolo uses third-party artificial intelligence services to generate conversational replies, pronunciation feedback, and spoken audio. AI-generated content is provided for language-practice purposes only, may occasionally be inaccurate, and should not be relied on as professional linguistic, translation, medical, legal, or travel advice. Voxolo is not a substitute for a certified language proficiency assessment.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: reverse-engineer or decompile the App except as permitted by law; use the App for any unlawful purpose; attempt to disrupt or overload our services; or use the App to generate abusive, harmful, or illegal content through the conversation feature.

6. Your Content

You retain ownership of the voice input and text you provide. By using the App, you grant us a limited license to process that input solely to operate the App's features (such as generating a tutor reply), as described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, content, and underlying software, is owned by Voxolo and protected by intellectual property laws. This Agreement does not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated responses will be accurate.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Voxolo will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App will not exceed the amount you paid us, if any, in the twelve months before the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, including for beta versions distributed via TestFlight, which expire automatically per Apple's TestFlight policies (typically 90 days after each build).

11. Changes to This Agreement

We may update this Agreement from time to time. We'll update the "Effective" date above when we do. Continued use of the App after a change means you accept the update.

13. Apple's Standard EULA

Where required by the App Store, Apple's Standard End User License Agreement terms apply in addition to this Agreement, including that Apple has no obligation to furnish maintenance or support for the App. In the event of a conflict between this Agreement and Apple's Standard EULA regarding App Store requirements, the Apple terms will govern for that provision.
